Analogue detection technology - Water, acid, hydrocarbon leaks

Leak detection by digital system

Leak detection by digital system

Data center, office building, laboratory, industrial site, department store... Your premises house equipment, technical rooms, server rooms and high-value goods, which could be damaged or destroyed by a major liquid leak (water, acid, hydrocarbon…)?

The installation of a leak detector connected to a digital control unit is a very effective method of protection. Our team ensures the design and manufacturing in our premises in France. From this location, we also cover the marketing and the installations in Europe.

Digital control unit and detection cables

Système analogique de détection de fuite de liquide : eau, acide ou hydrocarbure

The digital leak detection system is composed of two main elements.

  • A digital detection unit is usually installed in the Security Room. It displays the maps of the different rooms of the building with the cables installed. The leaks are identified by a flashing red light on the screen.

  • A detection cable is deployed in various rooms and halls of the building, on the floor or in the drop ceiling.

When a leak is detected, its location is displayed on the digital control unit by a flashing red dot, with an accuracy of one meter. This provides significant time saving thanks to the identification of the location of the leak and the speed of its detection, with the benefit to limit the damage as much as possible.

The added value of our digital detection system

Entirely designed and developed by Dagman, our digital leak detection system allows you to benefit from two innovative features.

  • Alarm threshold: via the detection unit, you can determine the minimum quantity of liquid to be detected before activating the alarm (from 3 to 60 cm in length of water on the cable). This adjustable threshold strongly decreases the probability of false alarms, mainly due to excessive humidity or condensation.

  • Optional Redundancy or Loop Back : at the end of the circuit, instead of placing an end terminator, the user may use additional lead cable connected back to the control unit, thus creating a safety loop: the "Loopback". The loop is created to maintain the ability to analyze the entire system in the event of a break in one of the sensor cables (before and after the fault). For example, in the event of a continuity fault located on the fifth floor, it would be impossible, without the Loop Back, to monitor sensors installed on the floors above.
