Analog system: use cases
This leak detection system is made up of two main elements :
- the analog control unit, installed in a room in the building to be secured,
- up to 120 m of detection cable can be installed on the floor, in a drop ceiling or around a pipe.
When a leak is detected, the control unit produces sound and visual alarms (by flashing LED) and can also, as an option, display the location of the leak, to the nearest meter. The analog control unit can be interfaced to the BMS (remote monitoring) through dry contacts, Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP.
Note: a single analog unit can simultaneously manage the detection of water, acid, and hydrocarbon leaks, via the installation of cables specific to each liquid.
